If you live in beautiful Brambleton, you know it’s a great place to raise a family. 2,500 acres of award-winning master planned community space includes residential units, community centers, shopping centers, office spaces, and of course Winwood Children’s Center. We are the best child care facility in the area, and since 2010 we have been providing Brambleton families with exceptional daycare programming for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years old. We make every child feel special!
About Winwood Children’s Center
Every child who walks, runs, or crawls through our doors is treated with a special place at the table. We value individualized attention, and our program is adapted for age-appropriate development, ensuring that your child grows with us, and also at his or her own pace.
One of the standout features of daycare at Winwood Children’s Center is our unique, structured curriculum designed to develop cognitive, emotional, and social growth in young kids at a time when the brain is making tons of neural connections, ensuring optimal development during this crucial time! Plus, we know learning needs to be fun, so we infuse creativity and delight into everything we do.
Some of our outstanding programs include Phonics, Math Their Way, Block Handwriting, Handwriting without Tears, Baby Signs, Hands On Science, Growing Up Wild (Science), Social Studies, Literature, Spanish, American Sign Language, Music, Computer Lab with Smart Board Technology, Lego Engineering, and Fitness.
Since 2010, we have made it our pleasure and our priority to serve our valued community of parents, families, and children. Our wonderful and highly skilled staff and teachers operate with values of respect and professionalism, and have been with us for years, demonstrating their level of experience and their commitment to quality child development. They laugh and play with the children throughout the day, creating strong emotional bonds that have lasting effects throughout life. Our nurturing caregivers love their jobs and treat your children like family!

What Makes Us Unique
Community involvement is a big part of life at Winwood, and we are continuously involved in celebrations such as Fall Harvest Festival, Open House, Back to School Night, Parents Night Out, Costume Parades, Mother’s Day Tea Party, and Father’s Day Breakfast. We love bringing families together to have a good time with each other. We also celebrate “The Week of the Young Child,” which honors our community of children, parents, and staff.
We have two distinct outdoor playgrounds for children of different ages to explore the wonders outside: one for infants and toddlers aged 12–24 months, and a larger preschool playground for children aged 24 months–5 years old. Parents appreciate our top-of-the-line security code system at the front door; safety is our number one priority. We also operate cameras with Toddler Link so parents can view their child when left in our care.
Included in tuition are a morning snack, hot lunch, and afternoon snack for every child, lovingly prepared by our personal cook. Parents also love that as a part of our Before and After Care program for school-aged children, we provide free transportation to and from elementary schools in the area.
Most importantly, we value our presence in the Brambleton community, and consider us all in this together. We are so happy when our satisfied and returning families tell us how much they appreciate the love and care we put into every day with every child at Winwood Children’s Center.
