Hello Families,

I would like to first thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to visit our website. My name is Nancy Stewart and I have been with Winwood Children’s Center for the past ten years.  I love working with children and being apart of their developmental growth. I feel that the Multi- cultural and diversity aspect of our center brings a sense of uniqueness to the Brambleton community.

Our Winwood location is location on the corner of Belmont Ridge Road and Redeemer Terrace.  Right across from Briar Woods High School in Brambleton.

We are proud to offer an outstanding structured curriculum program which includes:

  • Spanish
  • Computers Including the Smart Board

A feature that is most popular with our parents is our top of the line security door code system by the front entrance. Each day we provide a morning snack, a hot lunch prepared by our personal chef and an afternoon snack.

Our campus offers a unique outdoor environment featuring two separate playgrounds for our Infants and toddlers ages 12 months-24 months, and a larger pre school playground for children 24 months- 5 years of age.

Community involvement is a big part of life at Winwood Children’s Center. We hold several parent events throughout the year, such as our Back to School Night, Parent Night Out Events, Costume Parades, Mother’s Day Tea Party and Fathers Day Breakfast just to name a few. We also celebrate “The Week of the Young Child” every April.  During this week we are devoted to the community and celebrating the children, parents and staff members as a whole.

Our center employs respectful, experienced, upbeat, professional and qualified staff members. I can assure you that we view the care and safety of your child as a priority and we will care for them as if they were one of our own.
